Challenge #9: Sketch It Out

Welcome back to another weekly challenge and thanks for stopping back in! Before we jump into this week's challenge we like to take some time and showcase our Creative Favorites from last week's Water Coloring challenge.

Marie Flayer from NJ Stamping Queen

Thanks so much to everyone who played along and don't forget to grab our badge (on the right sidebar) and support our wonderful challenge blog!

Ok, so this week our challenge is going to be a little bit different. This week we will be sketching it out, so whether you are a scrapbooker or a card maker you will have to follow your intended sketch. Now the sketches can be flipped, rotated, and played with but the final outcome has to look like it came from the sketch. Both sketches this week come fro'm our CTMH how to manuals which are great reference guides for both new and seasoned crafter's so if you enjoy the sketches this week make sure to check out all of our How To Book Collections.

Remember you now have until Monday @ midnight EST to submit your projects for this week and the only rules are to follow the theme and to use at least one CTMH product on your project. Easy Peasy!

Ok so the first sketch is intended for cardmakers and is from our Originals How To Manual. If you have the book then you can find the sketch along with helpful tips and inspiration on page 87. And just in case you need a little more of a jumping point the paper dimensions are as follows:

A: 3" x 3 1/2"
B: 3 1/2" x 3 1/2"
C: 15" Ribbon
D: 6 1/2" x 2 1/2"

The scrapbook layout inspired sketch is from our wonderful Reflections How To Book and can be located on page 46. If you are fortunate enough to have this book then you will also get inspiration along with alternate photo layouts, feel free to use anyone of these.

The paper dimensions are as follows:

A: 11" x 11"
B: 12" x 2"
C: 12" x 1/2"

Again feel free to stretch, skew, flip, rotate, ect... as long we can tell it came from the above sketch.

Now, let's take a look at what our Design Team came up with this week:

I chose the Alternate Layout of the above sketch!
